The winners of the first “Marmora’s Got Talent” were brothers, Luke and Jeff Brownson, who were tied for first and Cassandra Derry who placed third.

When Donnie McEwan entered the Iditarod many years back, it was with a sled designed and built by David Moore. For over ten years now, David Moore from Perth has been donating a personally handcrafted dog sled as a prize for Marmora SnoFest Little Nippers’ Race. This year will be no exception.
David learned his craft from his father, Joe Moore, who had been making sleds since back in the early sixties. David can remember working with his Dad on sleds when he was just youngster. The hobby has become a labour of love as he carries on the memories and the skills his father taught him. It only seems appropriate that he would donate his special gieft to children.
